Luminaires Design EX - Explosion Proof zone 2/22 - Viewing Distance 20 m

The Design EX emergency luminaires comply with the requirements of the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU, as well as EN 60598, part 2.22 for emergency luminaires and is available in versions for zone 2 and zone 22. The luminaires are suitable for marking (with optionally available adhesive pictograms) or for illuminating escape routes and exits in hazardous areas. Only white high-power LEDs are used as the light source for these luminaires. This guarantees maintenance-free operation without changing illuminants over the entire service life of the luminaire.

Versions for low power and and central power supply systems as well as self-contained with autotest are available.

The EX series is built with type of protection Ex II 3G Ex nR IIC T6 Gc Ex as well as II 3D Ex tc IIIC T65°C Dc and can be used according to the ATEX directive in areas with explosive gases (zone 2) as well as in dust Ex areas (zone 22).

When connecting the optionally available MU05BOX (IP54), the central battery luminaire can be monitored by a Schrack low power or central power supply system as a single luminaire (recommended DIP switch settings for MU05: S1=OFF, S2=ON).
